My recent stay at Cotenham Barn was a delightful family getaway where culinary innovation took center stage. We enjoyed a spacious family room that comfortably accommodated my family, offering both a king-size bed and a cozy sofa bed for my children. Each morning began with a lovely breakfast, featuring a variety of options including fresh, homemade bread and delightful jams that sparked joy in my children’s faces - a reminder of our simpler days in the Kenyan countryside. After breakfast, we often unwound in the charming lounge, where we enjoyed family movie nights on a flat-screen TV, while the large leather sofa provided the perfect spot for my kids to curl up with their favorite snacks. In short, Cotenham Barn is an idyllic retreat that merges comfort with a homely touch. Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful escape with the added benefit of delicious, thoughtful meals. We hope to return soon!
